Indie music

Indie music

Indie music (the words quoted from the English word indie independent (free)) refers to a number of types of music, music scene, subbudaya and stilistik and cultural characteristics which are considered the perception of independence from commercial pop music and mainstream culture and approach to the work itself (do -it-youself/DIY) independently.

The definition of "indie"

The term "indie" is often used to refer to a sound disembahkan by a musician, but if interpreted in a more literal, this is the way in which the disembahkan or produced. "Indie" usually refers to an artist or group that is not part of mainstream culture (mainstream) and / or actually produce music outside of the mainstream. While the music produced by artists of many different definitions "indie" broke out of character "was itself" (do-it-yourself/DIY) and the ability to work outside the auspices of large corporations.

Indie meaning "not under the auspices of the major labels"

One meaning of the word "indie" The most simple and commonly used is that the musicians are not bound by any major record label (major recording companies such as EMI, Universal Music, Sony BMG and Warner Music).

Problem with this definition is the lack of correlation between kekomersialan or creative freedom offered by the major labels. Most of the leading independent labels operating in accordance with business principles as the major labels, the department of artists and repertoire (A & R), marketing budgets and the commercial interests that help business operations. Meanwhile, the major labels often retain indie artists based on given greater creative freedom and accept the praise of critics.

I Scream Berteriak a.k.a

Began to listen to vocals on the song AC / DC - Back in Black, GNR - Appetite For Destruction, Linkin 'Park, Rage Against the Machine, Soundgarden and Dio. Back in Black benget arguably crazy song. If Girls try to listen to Spike in 1000, Janis Joplin, Pat Benitar ato Otep. As usual, before the exercises, vocal warm up and prepare to drink enough water. Do breathing and stretching exercises in moderation. Find a place that does not interfere passing people, ato better if you're alone. Do not forget to also find a place for you to shout loudly (eg studio). Before playing music, if you already believe to understand the content of that song. Often the singing quality will decrease because the singer did not know what the theme is another story told ato.If at the time to sing a song you have to wear a fake voice / falsetto, GPP continues to initially aja. The trick is, take a deep breath, lower abdomen should rada backwards (make sure the shoulder is not stiff) just pull the breath with the stomach. Loosen the jaw muscles and keep your tongue still lie straight in the bottom teeth.
We started screaming, do not think yelling is very high. Imagine you're shouting in the street.Remember there are two natural things that can raise your voice, the emotion and the distance. The body will be higher that require moving faster and farther than the lower tone. As we talk more and more exciting, the tone will also be increasingly rising, because the higher tones, the sound will be easier in deangar compared to low frequency sound. When start-up tone, deep breath in, Loosen the jaw and to straighten the tongue, complete lyrics. If you've never sang as she shouted, you will feel the pain in your throat for a moment, but if it continued (with caution of course) then the pain can be reduced. Many singing teachers who ngelarang we yell unless deemed mapu do it. Emang shouting can be quite difficult to do well, but also not means can not be done.
If we want to sing falsetto, slowly try moving the sound to the chest because the muscle that is often used in the middle of shouting is a muscle. Unfortunately, this muscle is very difficult to develop. But once successful, the cry would sound incredible.
Other exercises can also help is screaming with my mouth open wide as she stuck her tongue out straight ahead, aaaahh produces the sound, like when a doctor examine you. Sing the scale tone interval half with sura are like a witch. Do it one by one and rest and then drag-Tipa breath after each tone. Remember, the exercises in this post could cause illness if you have not yet experienced in singing. So if in doubt mending you learn from vocal teacher directives. ^ _ ^

About EMO

Emo is short for emotion ... (of course!) Could say was 'born' taon 80s where time is actually more widespread genre of hardcore bands (that explain the scream / growl thingy ...). hardcore underground movement and was later better known by the name sXe or 'straight edge' ...

sXe is a form of 'protest' of young Americans who try to get out of pakem2 lifestyle 'deviant', such as sex, drugs, and alcohol .... practically the most influential bands rich gorilla biscuit time, into another, youth of today , 7 seconds, and much more. this movement as a priority to the hardcore music scene as a straight edge to them and their lifestyle. short straight edge means to live without Morocco but I did not eat meat (vegan) but I did not drunk (non alcoholic), even the most extreme can get guns ngent * t (it's extreme ?!!!)

This genre is very rapid progress in the various underground scenes and even a new grip anak2 rich young emo .... maybe in the last taun2. but this does make some people who originally made this concept so embarrassed. everyone wants to be sXe (ikut2an). and even this scene is a trend. case for the basic orang2 regrettable by Ray Cappo (Youth of Today) and rekan2nya else.

hence some people who claimed to benar2 'true' tried out and decided to find something else.some new genre emerged ... rich krishnacore (eg band: shelter), which is still led by ama Ray Cappo Youth of Today after its disbanding. genre name is taken from the teachings of Hinduism (India so lah ...) and the lyrics more to introspection and restoration.

another sub-genre was born and bermacam2 ... then there are some bands that began to express and play with emotion. her songs are usually very kenceng2 guns (initially) but time went on the lyrics / chorus who are considered most growers, they ngeluarin all his emotions and some vocalists tend to scream (scream), and even weep and wail a splashy distortions. the lyrics are their primary ammunition. emo is the forerunner who we know today. maybe the band Give Up The Ghost could be a reference on this fine day, I'll still many other band2.

so at first it really .. ga too ngutamain emo music ... but how do I let emotion expressed ... such lu lu lu bete krn girl ketauan ngent * t ama temen lu (cheating) ... expression of sadness, bad mood, angry was poured on the lyrics and packed in musik.musik just as the media.

as the passing of time, who was born band2 start giving the concept and find a more musical ability. end of the millennium there is one band that could be considered emo bokapnya we know right now that is Glassjaw. if some is actually similar perhatiin ama Finch Glassjaw (album cover too similar) but from the commercial side of the Finch probably more liked by the controlling the music industry.

Inspirit booklet insert had more than lyrics, also had writing's from multi people sharing there personal stories and experience being victims of sexual abuse and rape. this made the subject of the record much more real and important. the bands on this 7'' are Amber Inn, Coleman, Elements of Need and the Fisticuffs Bluff.

Admiral - s/t ep

kill holiday - monitor dependency ep

originally formed as a project band by members of unbroken and amenity, this is kill holidays first release put out after unbrokens split up in 1995. kill holiday would go on to release more records and have their share of member changes ultimately changing their sound to something almost mainstream by their last lp. on this record though its pure emotional hardcore loud, heavy and griping lyrics that stick in your head also contains one of my favorite songs cold shoulder.
