Moral Hazard/Chupacabra Split (Wage Slave/Catchphrase/Gasmask, 1999)
I said in my last post that I was going to post it... so I did, ok? This was released in 1999 and was a split release with Wage Slave Records, Catchphrase Records, and Gasmask Records...
"Chupacabra is a crusty metal band from Calgary Alberta. It consists of five angry kids."
Chupacabra plays hardcore political crust with alternating male and female vocals... great stuff in my humble opinion. The band was: Andrew, She-ra "The Princess Of PowerViolence", English Dave, Ryan, and Dan. In addition to this split and the 7'' entitled (check out the previous post) "Tired Of Talking To Shadows" (Bumpkin/Ubble-Gubble, 1999), they also released a CD called "Fracture The Code" (Self-Released, 2001) and I recently exchanged messages with She-ra (female vocals) about uploading it for me, but I guess she's having trouble putting it up on bittorrent. I'll try getting in contact with her again soon. Anyways, check out their archived website where you can learn more about the band and check out lyrics (keep refreshing the page for some nice quotes) : Click Here
Moral Hazard bangs out one song and that's it.... I can't find anything else by them anywhere... but it's a pretty decent song and a pretty decent band. Check out all of the images included in the RAR file (most of the Moral Hazard stuff is ranting about CHANNEL 1 but there's some neat stuff in there). Enjoy.
